I wove these samples on a 24 Harness Dobby loom. I employed various techniques such as separating warps in double weave, deflected and supplementary wefts, felting, overlapping pattern, and stuffing. I was inspired by fighter jets and explosions because of how the graphic form of a plane becomes obscured by surrounding smoke and fallout. I also took inspiration from glorification of the military like in World War Two propaganda as well as medals of honor.
